Every Mission Begins with God's Initiative

Long before mission stations were established or schools were built, God was already at work among the Tagakaulo people. Their deep respect for creation, strong sense of community, and enduring traditions reflected a culture rich in values that the Gospel would affirm and illuminate.

When missionaries first entered these mountain communities, they came not simply to bring Christ, but to encounter Christ already at work in the lives of the people. Through patient listening, friendship, and accompaniment, they formed relationships that became the foundation of today's mission.
